Having owned my '!5 SVA (34,000 km mileage currently) for 3 months, I must admit that I am a bit disappointed with the build quality. The interior is in great condition at first glance but on closer inspection, the trim pieces can be easily removed. Not what I would expect from a GBP100k car! On the move, due to the great sound insulation, creaking sounds are amplified too- sounds like certain parts need to be tightened. Also, when I get in the car and switch on the engine, it takes a good 4 or 5 seconds before the a/c comes on. Shouldn't the a/c system of modern cars come on immediately? Apart from these little quirks, I am loving the car. '01 1.8i Freelander. Grey/ grey '06 4.2 S/C Buckingham Blue/ Parchment '15 5.0 S/C SVA Loire blue/ Black |

Strangely I watched “inside Bentley” on the TV tonight, basically about the Bentayga and if money was no object (which it isn’t it’s more dried up river bed than trickling) I would still go for a Range Rover although I do like the idea of the W12 engine

Both area amazing and if you never go off-road or tow and don’t mind blowing a found then it’s the Bentley , or as iam wait for a build slot on a urus and have a vogue in the meantime |

Fifth gear recently did a comparison with the bend over and an SVA sport (I know it should have been the FFRR SC!) - The bend over won on refinement, sheer quality of the interior, ride and lesss gaucheness than the rr....... oh and it was as good off road - it even had more ground clearance than the sport. |

I hear there is a similar thread on the Bentley forum!!!!! Probably best to buy both , run them for a year , then pick the one you use the most. Seems the simplest option 2015 4.4 AB

Much better comparison. Thanks mercury. Interesting that the FFRR ride was better off road. |

My mates boss had 6 or 7 RR all at the same time for staff and family all brand new so a few quid was spent with the MD’s and over the years has had nothing but issues more or less weekly, he’s replaced five with Bentley’s the last twelve months and hasn’t had no recalls or stupid issues and miles better customer service and appreciation and will never go back to JLR. _____________________________________________________
