Bling grilles on the 2010>

Dear all, one of the things I'm not keen on with my facelift Ipanema Sand L322 is the blingy cheesegrater grill.

However some cars I've seen online appear to look better (to my eyes anyway) by being darker. Has someone like myself got the rattlecan out, or are there indeed darker non-bling grilles to be had?

I don't know if its an optical illusion created by the darker grilles but some of the headlights seem darker inside as well, witness;

For instance this is my style, light grey and bling;

and another picture robbed from the net, a darker, meaner, and cleaner look;

I also was not a fan of the original grille.
Also the VSE didn’t come with the silver splitter bar or spot lamp surrounds, but 10 minutes with a paintbrush changed that.
I opted for grey grille sides to match the headlight inners, but liked the shiny black grille with chrome surround.
Each to their own , plenty of mix and match options Thumbs Up

Certainly seems like it! I'm going the other way painting my silver bar and fogs grey!

I also quite fancy the simpler "3 blade" side gills, but will keep the originals of course for the next person, as you say one mans meat etc.
