if that is the issue its expensive i would rule out everything else first.

I paid £3000 at a specialist LR indie. That’s new chains guides etc. Front had to co me off but if they tell u the enginr has to come out tell them to get stuffed. It doesn’t (but takes more time and expense!) |

just on a vanos point, I recently used Mr vanos to do a swap for a refurbed unit on my e36 M3. was £800 and that included him coming out to me and stripping the top end in my garage and putting a new "fixed" unit in.
