Obviousley you will be looking at a tdv8 because you do medium to high mileage otherwise you would have gone for the petrol so if it already on 126k you will soon be at 200k !

Only do around 12k miles a year , was going to look at one at a dealers today but decided to hold on for a month or so as I still love my disco and need to get. Few bits sorted on it before I sell it Thumbs Up

I have a my08 with 250,000km or about 150,000 miles. It has a great service history. I'm really enjoying this vehicle. Coming from a 1989 110, which I still like a lot, I can see some very good design features in the L322. It's really a quality vehicle, that's very capable, but loads more comfortable on long drives.

Two significant expenses so far have been the tranny (lack of grease on output spline - new tranny/transfer box) and alternator. I'm expecting a air Spring and steering rack replacement in the next two years. ______________________________

Gday Steve
Yes the rack has a fluid weep. Not enough to even leave a drop. Apparently they eventually get bad and need replacing. So far no change. ______________________________
