99% going to be selling my Disco 3 and wanting a tdv8 , any tips to help and info on bad points to look out for would be a great help not a great budget , around 12-15k ,

theres plenty of info on here about it if you do a search. A good post is under 2007 tdv8 but I can't seem to add the web link to my post for some reason, so can't link it. Search for that for a starter.

I would check the history and get the one which has been looked after the best service history wise and you will stand the best chance of getting a semi reliable one!

That's very nice , I'm looking for gray /silver as black or ebsom green is a bit to bling for me down in north Cornwall pasty land , it will be used as a work / towing vehicle , and pleasure

And need black or gray seats , cream seats and builders just don't go together

Im assuming you are coming from
2.7 tdv6, which is a very good vehicle.

The 3.6 tdv8 is a bit like a D4 SDV6 but better in terms of driver seat power/torque.

The basic RRV has about (not exactly) the same features as a D3/4 HSE.

The post 2006 RRV was probably neglected by ford as it was a heavily BMW influenced design. The 3.6 & 4.4 tdv8 have a combination of ford & BMW influence.

Yes , had my 2.7 for 4 ish years , I've had a classic 300 tdi and a nice p38 4.6 , but living down here there's not so many around of the tdv8 , im in no rush and will still keep the D3 for a bit , but now sold my nice Audi A4 233hp
Quattro so have some £££ ready for the right one 👍
