No cover on mine anyway. This is probably the (standard) "electrical towing preparation", mine has some of the sockets in use for the trailer electrics, I expect the ones not in use would be for the deployable towbar. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

No visible cables, but do have deployable tow bar.

Depends on how exposed they are - they would be higher than the tow electric socket - and whilst that has a rain cover, I'm fairly sure it would fill up whilst wading...... |
