2013 SDV8 44000 miles- had one new parking sensor, 2 new cameras (both front) and the oil level sensor replaced (cheap aprt expensive labour) I have warranty direct cover and it stumped up for the lot (less £60 excess). So certainly nothing major. (fingers crossed and touching wood as I type- which isn't easy!) |

36k miles in 2yr and 6 months....no major issues to speak of, tailgate had a mind of its own once, was reset and no further issues. As I have a TDV6 the oil service issue is annoying as mine does low miles in the week. 2021 L405 Vogue D300

Sadly, this verdict is now on hold. The car has been off road for the last 3 weeks (@ < 11 months and 30,075 miles old), awaiting resolution from LR Technical & LR Customer Support |

The cause and repair is still being investigated and I'd rather not go into the details until I know the whole story, but it started with an orange engine management warning light, followed by a red triangle and "Restricted Performance".

Mine did similar after owning it for three days. It turned out to be an oil leak which had flooded the turbo boost solenoid (whatever that might be) and there had to be wholesale replacement of parts to the tune of about £2k plus labour. I have to say it runs sweet as a nut now but then did before. I found the warranty (new car) to be excellent but they now use Enterprise to supply loaners which was less of a treat. I had to argue that to ferry my family to my Daughters place was not going to be comfortable in an XE and had been promised a full size SUV. Eventually they gave me a XC60 which was closer but a mile off being comfortable for the trip.

So far I have only experienced brake servo failure at 1500 miles and the infotainment system which has the mind of a stubborn old goat!! |

Will be 2 years in Dec, and currently tempted to just keep what I have as PHEV seems 50/50 in reliability by the sounds of it..
