United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Adriatic Blue
Front subframe

Please bear with me as I have very little knowledge on cars Embarassed

Looked under the Td6 today and the front subframe looked to have some surface rust on it, or the coating of it was flaking off, along with all the muck and cr@p thats accumulated under there in 15 years

Should I worry about this? Or is it normal? Wasnt sure if it needed treating in any way? Just as a preventative measure?

There are no holes or flaking chunks, just looks like the first layer is peeling maybe?

Give it a poke/ tap with a hammer, if it doesnt go through then no need to worry. If it does go through then will need replacing (mot failure) alot of range rovers we see have alot of surface rust underneath but none of them have ever needed welding 2004 td6 l322 - gone
Now 2007 tdv8 l322
