I'd have thought if you are an English Premier League footballer, and you drive a V8 engined car, it would be quite an appealing plate.............

although one would imagine the average premiership footballer probably doesn't know what a V8 engine is nor the abbreviation for the premiership Laughing You can paypal direct using - www.paypal.me/duckworthparts

The V8 I got but I had no idea what EPL meant - but then I don't watch football of any type. Ron B. VK2OTC

I suppose the Oz equivalent (for Aussie Rules Football) would be V8 ARF. Meanwhile, mk1Paul, why not email the Chief Executive of the EPL, he might fancy this plate, and he's bound to have a V8!

There should be a reasonable chance that EPL are someone’s initials - not particularly uncommon letters for a name to start with.

If EPL is English Premier League, does that mean no Scottish, Welsh, or Irish teams play?

Aussie rules (not popular in this State) is AFL, rugby league (popular in this State) is NRL.

Yep, I can see some bogan buying such a plate. Very Happy Ron B. VK2OTC

Odd one this; Welsh teams do play in the EPL (Cardiff this season, Swansea last time), but Scottish ones don't, and nor do Irish. Although Berwick Rangers, just inside the border on the English side, play in the Scottish League.
Glad that's clear!
Oh, I've often wondered about the Aussie term "bogan".........is it the same as "chav"? You know; no class, bad manners but very noisy and, well, noticeable in public.
As in "that noisy family, with the kids toys left out on their uncut lawn among the empty fag packets - they're a bunch of bogans." Or something else entirely?

Thanks for info about n EPL. When I see TV news items about UK football, I'm amazed at the crowds and just how partisan they are.

RE bogans, you've got it in one! Mr. Green Ron B. VK2OTC
