I'd have thought if you are an English Premier League footballer, and you drive a V8 engined car, it would be quite an appealing plate............. |

The V8 I got but I had no idea what EPL meant - but then I don't watch football of any type. Ron B. VK2OTC

I suppose the Oz equivalent (for Aussie Rules Football) would be V8 ARF. Meanwhile, mk1Paul, why not email the Chief Executive of the EPL, he might fancy this plate, and he's bound to have a V8! |

There should be a reasonable chance that EPL are someone’s initials - not particularly uncommon letters for a name to start with. |

If EPL is English Premier League, does that mean no Scottish, Welsh, or Irish teams play?

Odd one this; Welsh teams do play in the EPL (Cardiff this season, Swansea last time), but Scottish ones don't, and nor do Irish. Although Berwick Rangers, just inside the border on the English side, play in the Scottish League.

Thanks for info about n EPL. When I see TV news items about UK football, I'm amazed at the crowds and just how partisan they are.
