AJGalaxy is that heat damage to your plug? (Aside of the mud) And heat damage to the cable? Or chaffing?

So, now I know where the plug is, I was wondering if there was such a plug, I thought there would be as range rovers and horse floats seem to go together

It only has a brake light signal i.e. on / off, not sure what signals your electric brakes need. BMW i3 Electric Car 2012 Full Fat RR 4.4 TDV8 (now gone) 2006 VW Touareg 3.0 TDi V6 |

Mechanical over run brakes. As the vehicle slows down, the coupling compresses and that applies the brakes. BMW i3 Electric Car

Most are cable - there’s is a requirement for the trailer to have a cable or rod handbrake, so it’s easier to use the same cable for the main brake.
