Have a look at my edited post above - seriously they are fantastic and a perfect no damage fit. Stainless steel clamps covered in thick moulded rubber - no way will they cause any damage. The LR cross rails are in comparison are absolute 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

To be fair, the OEM roof bars aren’t that good! |

I am very pleased with mine - I went for Black with black trim and fitted them myself - 1hr job very easy to fit. They appear to be a very strong alloy and the paint finish is excellent - no issues at all - I would definitely buy them again 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

It’s good to know. I certainly don’t want to use the standard bars again and Thule stuff is a lot less expensive AND much higher quality!

Just been out to the workshop to check. The bars are 1.55m long manufactured from alloy. The clamp body’s are steel clad in plastic and the clamps themselves are stainless steel bands totally covered in thick rubber.

All you need is the Thule 775 feet and the Thule Aero Bars. These mount straight onto the std L405 roof rails. If you buy off eBay these are the cheapest from P F Jones, the feet should come supplied with the locks. Dead simple to fit and hard to muck it up 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |
