ULF 54 PIN ADAPTER LOOM REQUIRED

Sorry to raise the subject of Bluetooth again 😱 but can anyone help point me in the direction of where I can purchase one of the fabled ulf wiring adapter looms please? Yes I know I could swap out the pins etc but I’d rather keep things standard if you know what I mean, just in case lol plus it may already have a pairing button fitted πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜œ

Shambler, you can't keep it 'standard' if you're fitting a ULF !!!

The BMW ULF module uses different pin outs to the stock RR unit, so if you buy the RR loom you have to change the pins.

Folk can make a loom for you or you can make one yourself

I managed to buy a complete rear loom, with RR pinning, took the bits out I wanted and re-pinned

The problem was my loom had been smashed somewhere around the rear passenger door area, that just gave me a microphone cabling issue Wink

I think it sells for like stupid pounds.

I did mine myself after buying a new plug from an Audi dealer, and just moved the pins I needed across. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Fact is, there isn't anything else you can plug in to the 54 pin plug, so repinning for the ULF only adds value...especially if there is a ULF module attached to it!! Thumbs Up

I bought an empty plug to do that too. The empty plugs cost a bomb here in Oz. If anyone wants one here in Oz, I want to sell mine. Changing the pins on the original plug is quite easy. Ron B. VK2OTC
