Question as title really. The car I have reserved at LPR seems to have everything I wanted ( and more besides) but is missing Adaptive lights / cornering lights.

It's a relatively inexepensive factory option (£305.00) but is it possible to upgrade retrospectively, has anyone done it and what are the approximate costs please??

I would suggest the answer is a no.

You need to get different headlamps to start with and then install a different wiring harness that would support the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module and also reprogramme the lighting control module to support the AFS static cornering lamps.

All in all it would be prohibitively expensive if it were possible.

It has been done successfully on D3's but there is a little bit of wiring to be done. You need a set of lights, an ECU and a harness from a donor vehicle. You will also have to have the addition coded to the vehicle by dealer or someone with a faultmate/autologic.

Not sure if the parts are available from dealers.

Your best best would be to chat to "Wiggs" - I am not sure if he comes to Fullfat, you may have to find him on the D3 forum. Perhaps 10forcash may also be able to help
