Yes it has Lpg and is the same on both. When you get above 3000rpm it doesn’t pull to bad (but not like it use to). I will check the fuel pressure just to be sure. I believe the the fuel pressure reg is built into the in tank pump sender unit. I changed the fuel filter about 4 months ago. |

Nope brakes are fine and I did the chains and guides 1.5 years ago using a Land Rover timing kit this started about 4 weeks ago. There is sometimes a rattle on start up and when warm but it’s not that bad ( I have driven others that sound worse than mine). I lossend the down pipes so it could blow and went for a (very loud lol) drive and just drove the same so don’t think it’s the cats blocked. I went out for a drive yesterday evening out into the sticks and I think it’s to do with the gearbox not either a. Lockup clutch not unlocking b. solenoid sticking c. mechanical fault. It’s late changing down gear when going up hill but you have to put loads of throttle on then it will suddenly change but by then your at 80% throttle so it’s then off like hell. The more I think about it the more I think it’s the box not the engine at fault. I had the box rebuilt 2 years ago but in the end they weren’t very good they put ATF in not Mobil lt71441 (I changed it when I found out about a year later) but the company went bust |

The other half has just been out in the car and said it came up with trans failsafe so I told here to turn it of and back on again to get home. I have scanned it and the code is p0881 tcm power input signal could this be wiring or a duff solenoid? |

There would have been an amount of the original ATF in it still unless you had it power flushed as some remains in the torque converter, as far as the transmission code, RRPhil is your man. |

I emptied the sump and put a new filter in then filled up the sump took the return from the cooler off and got my dad to start and put in reverse and drive whilst I pumped more in till it was just gold coloured fluid coming out of the return then reconnected the return and topped it up. Can anyone get RRPhil to look at this post please as I’m not sure how to get in touch with him ta. |

Well that's one way i suppose, as far as the code, i don't know I'm afraid, the only wiring i have had faults with is the connection going to the transfer box but i can't remember if there is a separate connection for the transmission or whether it all passes through that multi plug.
