I suspect the next major FF model (L5xx ??) will be designed as an electric vehicle with any compromise being for the petrol/diesel versions, which will likely be phased out during the following few years. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

Thanks for those pictures of the boot. Not great but not the end of the world either.
The executive seats are a delete option - you can spec the normal ones Deployable sidesteps are now on the configurator (or I am pretty sure they were the last time I tried) Not sure about the tow bar. |

Interesting to hear from an actual owner, of course, but from I can see on the rest of the internet most people can expect a solid 20 miles EV-only range. Of course you can run in combo mode, which is the default setting, and if the battery runs out of juice then you can plod along on petrol-only. From our friends here and from P400e reviews I am increasingly reassured by the petrol engine which is described as tourqy and surprisingly refined (quiet, anyway) unless you are ragging it.

One thing I'm curious about - most new orders seem to specify the panoramic glass roof - couldn't that huge area of glass be converted into a solar panel to help with charging? Just a thought, but the FFRR seems the ideal vehicle to carry such a panel. |
