Auto dip headlights

My auto dip headlights are sometimes quite slow in re=acting to on coming traffic - so I get an occasional and justifiable flash from the other car.

They dip 99 Times out of a hundred
Not fast enough maybe 20 % of the time.

Picks out rear lights the other side of the planet Laughing

I’m going in for the first service soon, so.....

Is there anyway to adjust so they pick up headlights further away and dip ?

Best Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

No problems at all on my MY18, but had to turn it off on my MY15.5 for that very reason. The MY18 headlights in general are a vast improvement.

Bill,
I must apologise I went to get my car but didn't collect it as on test drive the car developed another fault, which they couldn't fix and I forgot to ask
I will next time

Bills description sounds spot on for how mine operate - I was going to say 'work' but that didn't seem the right word Whistle

I find they work on some cars and others are really slow to react!

I changed both the mirror & the light sensor on our D4 and the High Beam Assist now works perfectly and the lights are now on far less than they were with the previous sensor! Go figure!!! Rolling Eyes

Ok dokey... so it could be a sensor issue...The dealer can change that then...
