Good evening everyone,

I am a new RR owner here. I picked up a 2008 RR HSE 85K miles on it. I finally made an account because I am going to start my journey of owning one of these machines and start learning it by getting my hands dirty. I am going to start at the basics (change the fluids) and work my way up to full repairs. Unfortunately on my way up to Minneapolis in the rain I started to noticed my wipers malfunctioning. So this evening I made an account to find out some information about replacing the wiper motor and the process/tools involved with that.

Evening all, new to the forum from Ireland! Picked up a 07 TDV8 Range Rover there last weekend as my company car and loving it so far. Few niggles to sort such as the echo in the bluetooth and rear wiper not working. A big plus is that the missus loves the jeep and being a passenger (she won't drive something this size anyway) which is a plus as she usually hates the motors I come home with!

I'm (hopefully) about to buy my first RR. Been doing quite a bit of research, & I've come to the conclusion that my best bet seems to be a 4.4 TDV8 on 20" wheels.
There's not a huge amount of choice up here in Scotland just now, so still looking.
I thought I'd found my ideal car today (in Autotrader). Perfect colour & interior combination, apparently lovely condition, but - 22" wheels, which I understand give a harsh ride & just love potholes (we have potholes here that you need a torch to see the bottom!). So still looking.

I wouldn’t be put off just by a set of wheels.
If the car is otherwise “perfect”, 20” wheels come up for sale regularly on here, and you could probably sell the 22” on here for a similar amount. (But make sure they are genuine LR wheels or nobody will want them.)

My favourite driving holiday in a Fullfat of all time ended in Stavanger. ( Back in the days when the ferry went from Newcastle.
I drove from Bergen to Stavanger around Hardanger.
I remember walking up to the top of Pulpit Rock in glorious sunshine but snow on the peaks of the distant hills. Stunning
