Hi guys , car started making strange stepper motor type noises from the key area, so rather stupidly I sprayed some lubricant into where the key goes and now whereas it was fine before it now is almost solid and you have to turn ans wiggle the key to start it, it feels really solid when trying to turn the key. Any ideas? One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

just for reference ,you should never use any type of wet lube on a key cylinder, lock or locking mechanism. Dry powder grafite from a locksmiths or good hardware shop usually does the job |
