I get a rattle in the front (driver and passenger) door cards when stopping with my foot on the brake, its a lot quieter almost non existent if I put it into neutral while waiting at lights etc.

Is this just a case of removing the door badges and tightening the door cards?

if you have 20 inch wheels on then thats the reason...the td6 wasnt designed to run these size wheels hence the vibrations..

solution would be to take the cards off and check for loose speakers etc and then secure the cards with a bit of foam maybe.. ... - .- -.

Thanks Stan, I bought the car with the original 18/19" (?) alloys and recently swapped to new 20" alloys however its always had the rattle, I don't think swapping them has changed it at all.

Ill remove the door cards this weekend.

From memory there is a connector situated top front that needs to be either tied or glued down and if not it rattles or it did on mine - hope it is that as an easy fix
