United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Buckingham Blue
Head Unit

Ironhorse

Good find and new head unit looks good, sorry if this next bit is going over old ground.

I have just inherited my brothers 2003 4.4 Vogue with a few small problems - DSP water damage/Head Unit not working and some other usual issues!!!!
My eyes Shocked are glued to the threads about head upgrades and now my head is Big Cry When you fitted the new one recently does this do away with all the junk in the boot area? or do I still need this jibberish!!! Any thing mechanical I will have a good go at but my brain is not wired to Ibus and Kbus blah! blah!

The Fatboy came with 3 amps 2 with the fungus from water damage and the other one was ok I think? just purchased. It also came with 3 Sat navs for some reason all in a box as he was in the prosess of sorting the problem when he thought stuff it and bought an 06 plate 4.4. So is this the holy grail of the DSP problem solve with the Ibus thingy? or just an updated head unit.
Hope to see the pics soon from your last install. May The FFoRRce Be With You

Well done that man Bow down it will be my saviour when I fit it to mine without having to purchase an old working head unit. Any other pica on where wires are attached to would be very handy indeed. Thumbs Up May The FFoRRce Be With You

As per GI Jim's post above, if I were to purchase this Android Head unit and the DSP I/f and app and replace my current stock set up, could I bin the existing DSP/TV tuner/GPS DVD drive in the boot space?

If so, this might be a better solution that replacing my water damaged DSP unit. 2010 L322 Autobiography Black Edition
