Took advantage of a break in the weather to get the salt and grit off the car. First up on ramps to scrub the underside

In a flurry of activity today I've replaced both rear light assemblies, like-for-like from Powerful UK and fitted clear lenses to the side repeaters. Also took the rear wiper arm apart to try to find out why I only get a trickle of water - eventually! - out of the rear washer. I was expecting to see some sort of sealing O-ring between the supply pipe stub and the cap with the jets in but nothing - more work required on that front. Mind you, the arm itself has seen better days so perhaps a new one is on the cards. I've finally exhausted all options in trying to locate a replacement rear wiper cover trim panel so it looks like I'll be getting in touch with Dan again; it was u/s when I got the car, a hole the side of a tennis ball in the middle and two lines of Araldite where a previous owner has done a bodge job! Oh, and I've also ordered a pair of upgrade headlamp bulbs from Amazon, they should arrive tomorrow. Nearest crocodile to the canoe after that is the aircon condenser; new one is sitting in the shed - and if tomorrow is decent weather-wise, it'll be fitted then.
