I was certain that heated washer jets were the norm on RR's, but in the recent weather, anything below zero and the washers stopped working, Dealer told me they are not a feature.

yours probably does have heated washers but if the water in the washer bottle is frozen then nothing will come out of the nozzles.. ... - .- -.

Agree with Alistair here. The normal screen wash you buy in garages is good to -5 but with the wind chills we were having near us the temperature was closer to -11. It was coming out the jets then freezing solid. |

If there are wires going to the nozzles then that is for the heaters. Maybe you can't see on the L405? |

Yes, the nozzles are heated but the fluid needs to still have the anti ice mix to avoid the reservoir freezing.. |

I don't think the wind chill makes any difference to the temperature at which screenwash freezes. It's simply a measure of what the temperature feels like to us humans as a result of the wind! |

Heated washer jets and heated windscreen area where the wipers park is standard and turns on when the temperature drops below a set point.

Have never bought the pre mix stuff, I buy the concentrate from Costco but perhaps I am being mean with my mix.
