The faulty EGR sensor fault doesn't cause restricted performance on mine. I replaced the sensor because I spotted the fault code but the fault code soon returned so I ignore it. |

Would be looking for a boost leak somewhere. Possibly a split in one of the 4 shoe hoses to the plastic plenum or in the plastic intake plenum itself. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

The first code is for a sensor in the NS exhaust manifold, this tells the ECU its running lean or rich this then increases or decreases the fuel trim... If it fails in one position then it will over fuel the car and it makes the exhaust STINK like a 1970s ice cream van!

Thank you, so it seems the EGR code would not cause the restricted performance. LR say it is bear being a ghost code. Would it be the water code setting it off then? |

JAS York looked at it and fixed it for me today. It needed a new fuel filter housing and sensor, and a new exhaust gas temperature sensor. |

Do you mind if I ask how much it cost for the repairs. I also have the same faults. Water in fuel circuit comes up every so often throwing the restricted performance warning (although it doesn't seem like performance is restricted). The EGR sensor is persistent though and i cant clear that with my IDTTool as it comes straight back on. 2011 RR Autobiography 4.4 TDV8 |

It takes me 1.5 hour drive to get there. But they have a loan car and a coffee shop nearby I worked from for the day while they had mine. |
