[Found] Bluetooth phone module

I need a working bluetooth phone module for a 2006 (touch screen) RR. Part number of my old unit is XVJ500045 and it's made by Nokia. But think this has been superseded several times, current part number is XVJ500420 I think.

Are you sure you want 1 of those?
If it's anything like the working 1 I've just taken out of our Nov 2006 TDV8, it will have limited connectivity & no ability to pick up your phone book - unless upgraded.
You might be better getting the later non Nokia unit that is relatively easily fitted in place of the Nokia.
If you're sure you want the Nokia, I may have 1 - lol.

m@ttsFF : Can you update the software with any Iid tool or only the Pro version?
I 'd read you could do SW updates, but thought it was only the Pro version. Paul,

Pawl, thanks - I will look to see if I can get a newer module.

I don't use the bluetooth phone to be honest, but don't want to bypass it as I like things to work if I ever need it. So just looking to fix it on the cheap. If you are selling your old one let me know.

The standard BT IID tool includes some SW upgrades as std and depends on model and year . One of the available updates for L322 2006 on (and 2002) is the Bluetooth ECU , another is the Suspension ECU , (2006) and ability to update to Nav on the move 2006 and 2002

Other updates at cost include transmission and transfer box ECUs - which I’ve purchased but have yet to update 4.2 SC - sold , now bought back

kezbo1981: We can't be far away from each other (I'm south of Solihull), message me if you'd like to discuss an attractive deal. I'm sure a "quick try before you buy" could be arranged if you want - lol. Paul,

Hi,
I have a Discovery 4 module available if you wanted to upgrade, it's an easy swap with just a couple of wires to attach to your original wiring plug. There's a post on wiki all about this. I have have one on my 2006 Sc already and it's a great upgrade with no need to pair your phone every time you use it and full access to your phone book !
Cheers Paul.
