I would be interested to know the reason the garage give for not being able lift the car with the suspension inactive. It is normal practice to inhibit the suspension by opening one of the doors when jacking the car. Done it many times, Inhibiting the suspension gives the same effect as an inactive suspension.

Unlikely, but is it too low to get over a lip/ramp with the suspension fully settled at or below access mode? Mike - MPx

I can just about get my fist between the wheel and bottom of the wing, so I don't think it's in access or 'bump stop' mode? |
