Collecting a new to me L405 SC on Saturday, I already have copies of all the service invoices but should I expect a stamped service book in the documentation or had LR entirely done away with these for the L405?

They don't have a service book - it's all on line - you can register with the LR website to download, view and upload independent services 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Ok, thanks - that's what the seller has said but wanted to be 100% sure when collecting.

Understand why things have gone this way (blank service books aplenty on fleabay...) and the invoices are the real evidence but will miss not having a book full of stamps too!

I did not know it could be accessed but now I have I have found that my LR dealer who carried out the service failed to update the record online. Not helpful if I had a warranty claim!

The online information is pretty basic and of course isn't available to you until you own the car. I suppose the current owner should print it off as part of the evidence if stating a car has a full service history . For the warranty, I would assume that as long as I have the paperwork from the dealer service, that would be enough whether they had uploaded the info to the online record or not. Steve
