unfortunately not, molex has not yet got back to me, as far as I can understand on the IHU (integrated head unit) you have 4 connectors
1. fibre optic connector
2. large molex style plug
3. smaller molex style plug
4. FARKA connector for radio aerial

the smaller molex connector is where i understand the aux connection loom to be wired in on the face lift versions (06 onwards) where the aux connection is located on the back of the centre console for rear passengers, I found a photo on a disco3 site where someone tapped into these wires and it has exactly the same IHU

Smaller molex connector:

top row left to right is 1-6 bottom row is left to right 7-12

in position 6 (above the brown wire in this photo^) is the ground for audio
in position 7 is audio right (Normally red on RCA connectors)
in position 8 is audio left (Normally white/black on RCA connectors)

this is where you would need to wire in if you can find the right connectors

Only other thing to do is use the GAP IID diagnostic tool to enable the AUX function in the CCF

If this is correct then you should have aux input available on a MOST system!! Very Happy obviously a jack plug will need to be on the other end of the wires to plug into a phone/ipod etc...

Unfortunately I am not looking to keep my range rover for much longer so may never actually get round to testing this mod but feel free to have a go and report back...hopefully with success!

Afraid not it was costing me a LOT of money so it was sold, even though I never got to try it, it should definitely work!

Good work anyway Ollie. Shame it didn't quite get to fruition, but I understand. Everytime I try and look at the audio dilemma something else more urgent gets in the way. Mine is an 06 w/ touchscreen but no aux in. Would like to utilise the optical in with apple tv or airport express, but probably too much grief. Even RCA in would be an improvement. All the best Thumbs Up

I’d love to know what the other wires on that block connector correspond to though as I was wondering if One of them was for Video in

Where did you source the pins from?

I didn’t source any pins mate, I basically got the cable stripped it down and wedged it into the pins, not entirely ideal, but glue them in with hot glue. I’m never going back there again and it’s held and working fine, so didn’t bother, lol

Am also going to do this on my 06 RR SC Full size. Have the AUX port enabled via the IID tool. Pretty simple edition to the CCF. Will report back on my progress. Thank you to all who figured this out.
