Brakes are low again just wondered what people do I always change discs and pads not just pads probably a bit of overkill but I just feel that for a couple of hundred quid why not?

Changing the discs each time with the pads is definitely overkill unless they are severely lipped / worn or out of true or corroded so the pads aren't working on their full surface area. .
Even for somthing as heavy & fast as a SC I would have thought every 2nd pad change would be fine.
I'm just changing them on our recent acquisition 2006 3.6tdv8 at 123,000miles - but they were working fine despite the 3mm lip each side & masses of rust.
The pads are less than half worn, so whoever changed them last was being rather lazy as they couldn't have been much better then Paul,

Depends on how worn the discs are. If within tolerance then they are left on the car.

I do mine every second set of pads. Don't need doing any more often than that. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
