Kilometers to miles

Hi, need some help, anyone know if it’s possible to change the recorded mileage (odometer) from kilometers to miles on a 2009 Vogue, car is being imported so actual speed is in klm/ph which is not a problem as a cheap heads up display will sort that out for the SVA test, would just like to have recorded in miles. I have spoken to LR and local dealers including independants and no one can give me a defiinitive answer only to say change the whole cluster Shocked Shocked

pretty sure the only way is to change the cluster and even then the odometer wont be correct.. ... - .- -.

Annoyingly this would seem the only option unless some clever person know a work around as it is a costly job, not to mention pulling the dash out and having to have the new cluster recalibrated with correct mileage including the othe ECU’s where it is stored.

So it's not Like a Mk 2 Disco where ( I think) you just pushed the (?) mileage knob in for a very long push, then? When I was looking for a Disco or RR, one of the Disco's I looked at had that, and the last MOT garage had recorded the km's reading as the mileage on paper and in the online records.

It was reset when I looked again, but my much cheaper and less rusty L322 came up in the meantime. Old 110 2.3 Petrol ???? - ????
Old 110 200tdi ???? - 2004
1996 Discovery 300tdi 2004 - 2015 met fiery end being welded
2004 JEEP Grand Cherokee 2015 - 2017
2004 L322 Td6 2017 -

Don’t know about the disco but can’t find a similar option for the RR, I know the mpg can be swopped from litres to miles via the screen menu but found nothing to swop the recorded KLM’s to miles, have also called some mileage correction services and they don’t know either.............?

On mine I can go into trip computer then units and change to kilometres, it then displays mileage in kilometres and puts a digital readout of speed in kph in the middle of the speedo.

Hi Ian, from your response I think you have the full digital display cluster from 2010 onwards which unfortunately I don’t have, mine is 2009 so pre facelift and has a normal speedo with digital mileage recording......
