dealer clearing faults

my suspension seems higher since my FF came back from a service at the main dealers so if they clear any faults using their equipment, will my eas settings made by the iidtool be reset as well.. ... - .- -.

They have probably had it lifted on a 2 post ramp with all 4 wheels dangling.
It will probably settle back to your settings.

@alistair ,havnt had the chance to do that yet but will do...

@mike, drove from swindon to canary wharf and back since the service and it still seems higher..

its not a big problem its just curiosity that the dealers diagnostics might do that when clearing faults... ... - .- -.

Re: dealer clearing faults

Can't see why it would.

But, then again, it's an FFRR so stranger things can happen.

IID tool to check is the obvious thing to try when you have time.

Or maybe you should go back to wearing heels, Stan Whistle What do I put here then?

There's your problem then ...

The flat soled daps you're wearing makes the FFRR feel higher. Rolling with laughter What do I put here then?

Have you lowered yours then Stan?

Something I keep meaning to do but I've not plucked up the courage to mess with it yet.

I replaced my 20" wheels with 22".

Wanted a more filled arch look. So dropped the suspension by 10mm

- simple to do with an IID Tool.

FF's now the same height as it was before new wheels fitted.

I tried a 20mm drop. Whilst the arches were even more filled, the FF was a lower height than it had been.

And - personally - I didn't like it. What do I put here then?

Mine went in once for a service and some additional work and I was convinced it was slightly higher afterwards as well. Took it back and it was adjusted. In theory if they did a software update I could see it would put it back to standard, much the same as a software update wiping over a remap.

cheers Alex

Mine only went back as it had a list of mistakes they had made and had to rectify which I found out the day I was leaving for holiday.

Needless to say it went back with an even longer list than before Thumbs Up Alex

May be the original settings have been overwritten, did you save a copy on your ID tool, its not something daft like the height selector switch been moved, Embarassed apologies if you’ve already looked at that.
PS can we get a pic of you with you heels on Laughing
