On the lower side of the mirror housing where the puddle lights are, there is a round plastic plug with a small slit for a screwdriver to prise open. Inside there are 2 screws - these may be loose. |

Thanks Stan, I looked at that earlier, shame the photos are missing. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to remove the door card and the mirror assembly for this...I’ll have another read ![]() |

Does anybody know if I can remove the mirror cover/cap and if I can, is there a facility to tighten the mirror wobble there? As already stated the mirror arm from the door is fine. Thanks in advance.

don't think you can ...you might be able to prise the mirror off a get 'in' that way..do a search for something like 'broken mirror' and see what comes up.. ... - .- -.

Stan's right. I found out because my mirror got whacked by a passing taxi a few weeks back. The mirror glass popped out, there it was just hanging on the cables. I pulled over and it popped straight back in.

Thanks Stan & Greg, I found this on YouTube, hopefully there will be a tightening mechanism behind the cover, I’ll maybe have a go later today and report back.

this is the main metal casting that pivots, so i would assume this bolts must be what is holding outside plastic structure.

Finally got round to trying to tighten up the wobbling o/s mirror. Mirror cap came off no problem, tightened the bolts nino_niro highlighted but made no difference |

The complete mirror assembly is wobbling up and down as per the red arrow in this photo:
