You can find replacement rear subframes on eBay (usually from later models), just a fun job swapping them over! .

I'm handy with the spanners so I did have a look on ebay but I expect the weight would be too much to handle on the drive. It could be an option if ok with the garage though.

i Just had exactly the same as this on a 2003 TD6, i bought a 2012 subframe that was like new, including all as new bushes for £240 delivered on a pallet.

Might i respectfully suggest before you look at replacing the rear subframe, check the covered areas of the shell first... Remove the sill covers etc and check the tinwork has not killed the car before you start spending (maybe in vein) sir... |
