Steering Wheel Alighnment

Well this one has me totally confused. The FFRR S/C 2007 N/S/R was jacked up today on the lower suspension arm to remove the wheel/tyre to repair a puncture. Once this had been completed the car was lowered and driven for a short distance to settle the suspension. During the drive I noticed that the steering wheel had moved anti-clockwise from centre. The car tracked ahead centrally and did not pull to either side. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Strange indeed. I think you need to get it on a ramp and check bushes and joints with a pry bar. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

Grofus. Indeed that would have been my first thought also. However all the front suspension arms, bushes, track rod and steering rack arms have been replaced within the last three months. Not to.mention the front wheel bearings as well.

Even more baffling. Neutral How far off was it. Could it be camber of the road?
May be you'll just have to re- align the front end.
Post up if you find anything and good luck. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

Before the incident the steering wheel has always been about 10mm off centre clockwise. Now it is 10mm off centre but anti clockwise!! Maybe it needs a good offroad drive too sort the suspension out. Will look to see the best local place to have a 4 wheel alignment check done.

I meant to post an update earlier. Problem found to be a failure of the nearside rear top knuckle bush. Strange these were replaced not many months ago and it was a Lemforder one. Inner bush tubing was moving laterally on the bolt. All sorted. Thanks to those that replied.
