cant see that jacking up the rear would affect the front..baffling it is.. ... - .- -.

Strange indeed. I think you need to get it on a ramp and check bushes and joints with a pry bar. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal |

Grofus. Indeed that would have been my first thought also. However all the front suspension arms, bushes, track rod and steering rack arms have been replaced within the last three months. Not to.mention the front wheel bearings as well. |

Even more baffling. How far off was it. Could it be camber of the road?

Before the incident the steering wheel has always been about 10mm off centre clockwise. Now it is 10mm off centre but anti clockwise!! Maybe it needs a good offroad drive too sort the suspension out. Will look to see the best local place to have a 4 wheel alignment check done. |

I meant to post an update earlier. Problem found to be a failure of the nearside rear top knuckle bush. Strange these were replaced not many months ago and it was a Lemforder one. Inner bush tubing was moving laterally on the bolt. All sorted. Thanks to those that replied. |
