it is an interference fit on splines so yours sounds like its stuck...you could use a wiper removal tool or persevere with a bit more grunt.

Ta, Stan - I've whizzed the roof spoiler off, so access is best. But I don't like the idea of alot of force with all that glass around |

Just done mine, it'll take a bit of brute force ! Keep your eyes peeled for the plastic nipple that sits in the hole, mine fired off down the drive , put it all back together and the water was peeing out fro the spindle. |

Poweruk havee a good tutorial on the tube, worth a look. Laying in hospital too lazy to dig out. Link, easy fount though, showschow to remomo er spoiler as well. 0-60 takes 5 and a half seconds...and about 17 gallons of fuel....
