I've seen 2nd hand injectors selling for £50+ each then you've got the HP pump, etc.

The old engine is going back , just putting it in the crate got me dirty enough to realise I can't be bothered stripping it to spend the next 12 months selling it off.

I've got a lot of spares from the original engine including one new injector the previous owner fitted hoping it'd cure the original problem , I'll keep that as a spare then sell the rest

It drives really well, spent yesterday looking through the service history , main dealer 03-07 then a garage in knutsford 07-14

Recon gearbox in 2013 , invoices I have add up to over 8k not including the main dealer first 4 years so it's not been neglected
