Yes it is under warranty but I don’t work like that. I always like to have an idea of what it can be before I have to deal with the BS dealerships give. I have lost count of the number of times I have gone to them with problems and their response is “can’t find any fault sir ....computer says no” |

Fair enough , luckily I have a local dealer that is pretty trustworthy and likes to please which I know is rare. |

It might just be worth checking that one of the rear brake calipers is not sticking?

Are rear calipers on 405s prone to sticking. Just asking as had to replace both on mine just at 86k? 2013 L405 AB 4.4SDV8 Luxor/Ivory, 2007 Vogue TDV8 Epson Green/Sand, 2008 Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue/Sand, 2003 Vogue 4.4 LPG Epsom Green/Sage, 1998 Vogue SE 4.6 LPG Epsom Green/Cream |

Could it be anything to do with the Auto Terrain Response starting off in Snow/Ice mode due to low ambient temperatures at the moment? |

It is daft that the dash doesn't display the mode the Auto Terrain Response has selected for you. You can only tell if you switch it out of auto and then find what mode you are in. It is also a little basic to change the throttle map purely because of a low ambient temperature. It would make sense to only do this once the traction control senses loss of traction combined with a lower temperature. |
