My Samsung phone pairs to the fatty via bluetooth OK but every time I turn off the car or go out of range I'm having to re-enter the PIN to reconnect.

Ah, OK. That makes sense. I just assumed they would be the same.

I had the same issue with mine, reflashing the BT module with my IID tool solved it. |

Did you re-flash the firmware as suggested above. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal |

I'm not sure if it actually upgraded the firmware, I just flashed it myself with my IID tool and a laptop and now it connects automatically and I think the phonebook shows too. |

OK , got the phone issue sorted with an exchange module from Bluetooth Exchange.
