Whenever I start my car, I get an amber triangle warning: Forward Alert Not Available.

After a couple of seconds the warning goes. And no fault shows - even when I select to see any.

I've got Forward Alert switched off in the vehicle setup. But get the same even when I switch it on.

What's confusing me isn't the warning - I can get the forward alert checked - but do I actually have a problem with it or not?

Surely if it is faulty, the error would show up when I look at show warnings. What do I put here then?

Check engine bay fuse 17 (10) in case it has blown.

Might get laughed at here, but I’m sure I got that message when I bought mine a few years back and it was the air compressor that was at fault. I’m trying to remember if it was that message that showed, and why it was compressor, if I remember I’ll write back.

Does your auto cruise still work?

I get that error message if driving in snow and there is a build up of snow on the front of the car and it stops the auto cruise from working.
