i had a go in the td6 then a go in the 4.2 made my mind up straight away had it 3 years now and still love it. 14mpg round town 17-20 open road . like to put me foot down HOW RELIABLE ARE THEY ? not let me down yet.................................................................. |

Add to that list weeping cam cover gaskets, PCV hoses falling apart all the time, vanos seals are useless and make the car sound like a diesel, exploding coolant tank, the ridiculous operating temperature of the engine which makes all the plastic under the bonnet brittle.
