Hi, quick intro for myself :
I'm currently a Disco 2 owner, which gets used for off-road trials competitions as well as being our main daily transport.
We've now got to the point where we can justify buying a 10 year old full fat Range Rover as the daily driver & to persuade friends that they can actually come out with us without getting their clothes dirty in the Disco - lol.
I've been lurking on the sidelines for a while learning as much as possible about the different quirks of the tdv8 L322 before starting the search to buy 1.
As usual, these forums are a great source of good info - problems & solutions - so I'm now daft enough to believe I know enough to buy 1 with various (hopefully) small faults.
I'm sure I'll be posting questions within weeks - lol ( Don't worry I've already found & used the Search function extensively!).
I'll be looking at buying the Gap iid bt diagnostic tool within days based on recommendations here.

Hello all.

I'm Paul, I don't at present own a Range Rover, but I may well do come this time tomorrow. I've owned a fair chuck of cars, including most of Ford's line-up, but I've reach a point in my life where my Jaguar isn't comfortable or regal enough, and so I'm on the hunt for an L322 3.6 TDV8 (newest within my meagre budget). All being well I'm shortly to become the owner of a 68k mile Santorini black TDV8 SE, with Ebony leather and Piano Black veneer.

This will be my first Range Rover so I hope you'll treat me gently.

Edit: She's actually mine Holy goats on toast I actually bought a Range Rover!

Currently a RR Classic owner, but looking to get something slightly more modern and Supercharged (and doesn't have Sport in the name)!

Hey 😀 welcome, I've only been an RR owner for a week, but I'm loving it. Those Classics are gorgeous, the farmer across the road had one when I was a kid, pure luxury on wheels.

rapidly falling into infatuation with my 2007 3.6 Vogue SE in some kind of black with ivory.

So far in a week, I have fixed the rear parking cam, rear wash for wiper, dismantled the venture cam and ordered a replacement battery.

Left for the dealer to do -
Fix the heated seats
Clear the spare tyre pressure warning
Clear the service light indicator (holding trip reset does not seem to work on a 2007 3.6)
Try and get hold of the remote for the webasto - hoping the dealer has it in his key cupboard.

Driven nearly a thousand miles.

Very happy so far.

Hi all
Just joined the forum which was recommended to me by a current member. Had a 1990 classic 3.9 ten years ago which was fantastic. Just dipping my toe back in the water as purchased a 2002 td6. Been stood for 12 months as had front suspension air bag fault and compressor stopped working. Got the engine running but gearbox will only select park and reverse. Early but any ideas as to nice to scrap. Got a new Dunlop airbag for the front and a lynx diagnostic kit on the way so fingers crossed. Currently running a disco 2 so used to sorting the odd fault out.

Hello all, I am looking to buy a L322 3.6 td v8

So.... just got myself a very nice 2004 L322. two owners from new, last one since 2009. FSH and the interior is almost unmarked. It's obviously been well loved and I think by a 'more mature' owner (who am I to talk??) because it has one of those '25' police stickers in the back. Very pleased with it (so far). and this forum looks like it's great!

Still got the 1955 Series One though - that's a proper Land-rover!
