Did a bit more soul searching and changed my order for the SC in the end, AB spec means I can have leather headlining too!

Yes, it's a shame not to on the AB. Went for the Ash finisher too, as I though the wood was a bit too 'old man' |

Hi- I bought the new 4.4L and passed on the 3L option, & seems from reading here it was the right thing to do. If you go for diesel and are visiting the man himself, try and persuade them of the errors of their ways... they reduced the tank size from 105L to 86L against my 2012 version..... similar Range for a tank of fuel, but irritating as I had anticipated I would be able to travel to Scotland and back on a tank of diesel with the better mpg , well almost. The petrol has the larger tank, but is thirstier I therefore guess the Range for petrol/diesel will be similar to diesel/86L tank. Petrol or diesel ? You will know more about it all after Wednesday’s speech by Phil. Notwithstanding that, I bought diesel , eyes wide open. NOT at all noisy... in my view nothing to worry about on that issue. I don’t understand the motor companies silence on the nox issue... they invested a great deal of money in production, and the emissions for modern diesel v modern Petrol are similar. When all is said and done, you are spending 100k on a car, the extra 10 k , for running costs, this way or that way over 5 years doesn’t matter. Finally don’t get the enhanced cruise control, will drive you nuts and destroy your mpg for reasons given by others. I’m not sure if you loose any other features by not having it. Good luck and enjoy Bill |

Sorry Phil, but I'm currently unable to update you on the test drives arranged with the VIP Configurator at Land Rover, Solihull. As previously mentioned, I had a factory visit booked at Land Rover Solihull on Wednesday the 22nd of November, but was contacted a few days prior and asked to re-schedule for 2 weeks later..... This was apparently because the car spec's I wanted to see were currently unavailable. Strange........ Seems they still managed to find time for these two visitors on that exact same date!
