Hello team,

Got one I can't solve (pretty much as per title) - how do I stop news alerts popping in DAB on my MY2011?

I've been through the manual, and turned off all alerts in the SatNav.

But can't find out how to turn this off. Only came in after I had the battery disconnected.

Thanks Stan, yes been in that one...
Pressed CLEAR ALL announcements several times.
And still it pops up..

At least you can listen to DAB, it’s 💩 here and breaks up all the time. So I’ve resorted to FM which works brilliantly There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Are they controlled by the "info" button below the volume control?

millerj90 - no there's nothing on the info button.

I thought I'd cracked it - I don't use FM but suddenly thought the FM TA etc might be it so I went into the FM settings and turned off TA etc.

But no, it's still popping up.

miller might be correct..toggle the button and keep an eye on the screen and you should see in the top left some letters popping up..toggle till theres nothing there.. ... - .- -.

make sure its all off in the radio fm mode cos if your fm is linked to dab then the messaging will be as well.


also check pty in fm mode is all deselected.. ... - .- -.
