thanks, but What is the purpose of this heater, is it to keep the engine warm over night, I remember there used to be electric ones that plugged in to the mains power, doctors used them in case they were called out in the night.
Is it fuelled by diesel or petrol

O,
when i was a young bloke living over there, I had a paraffin room heater in the back of my van but I would have thought the coolant heater would have by now been improved and been sufficient

With the earlier L322 models they're so you can get in a warm car in the morning before the engine starts, they came with a remote, although according to webasto modern diesels don't give off much heat for the heater matrix so they put them in for heat when the car is running.

Hi all , i have a fault on my FBH , circulation pump open circuit or short circuit to battery fault code 0x0034

Any thoughts please

Also paired a T21 remote with my FBH and all working fine. 2015 4.4 AB

Sounds like you need the pump i replaced as per the thread 2007 Vogue TDV8 with 255/55/20's fitted

well im new to all this tech stuff on these, so reading has prompted me to go try ours (didn't no i had such toys) so i've found said key fob, pressed the on button & just like magic i herd a fan kick in Very Happy so im now waiting to see if it works Cool i did notice the radio light start flashing, is that normal?

@johnyboy54321 - so is it still working? Still in the Mrs good books? Laughing

After a year of putting it off I had another play with this whilst I had the FF on the ramps doing the brakes.

I have noticed recently that when starting on a cold day the FBH fan comes on and runs for about 2 mins but feeling the exhaust it just stays cold so I don't think it is firing. I have never heard the fuel pump run so I pulled this off.

Checked I could draw diesel down the pipes from the tank so know they aren't blocked.

Hooked the pump up to a 12v supply and tested by touching terminals and the pump "pumped"

Checked the wire that goes to the pump with a voltmeter. Got a 11v reading both when the fan was running after starting the car, and also when I manually selected park heater from the MOST display (although this never triggers the fan like starting the car does.)

So I seem to have voltage to the pump but it is not "cycling".

I am going to try a reset using fuse 59 next as a double check. When I stripped the FBH the water pump was free and seemed OK although I didn't put 12v across to test as I din't know which terminals to use at the time but that might be my next step if I can summon the energy to strip it all down again!

Scotland 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Since we’ve been having some very cold mornings, I decided to fire up the FBH a couple of times. Each time I try it, the fob goes green and I can hear it fire up but after a few minutes, it stops, having done no heating at all.
Does anyone have any clues where I might start to investigate?

I would suspect it means your battery is not sufficient power to continue - the FBH is a big drain.
