Nasty, it sounds like the metal disc guard is getting involved or the caliper is loose or pads are loose in the caliper.

They are aftermarket drilled/slotted/vented rotors, I de-greased them before installing. Anti-rattle clips are in, the set came with everything the factory would come with.....................This is happening on both sides, all I did was change the rotors and pads. I'm stumped!! |

sounds like the pads and discs are still too new and not bedded in yet. I get a similar sound sometimes after I've washed the car ... it goes away after a few brakes. Have you taken it and done a bed in procedure ?

I personally wouldn't worry about it. I just think its stiction from the new materials that still have to bed in properly. Keep us updated to see if it goes once the car has had a bit of a run. V8 or else ... |
