Thanks Mark... but I'm still being unsuccessful in turning it off - !

On the TMC screen

the "traffic on route" and "all traffic events" buttons are greyed out and inoperative. So I press the "show TMC information" and get

then I press the "All off" button and the screen changes from loads of orange to grey.

So I think I've done enough...but no, I still get the initially laughable but quickly irritating "there is slow traffic" message repeated regularly on all my journeys regardless of the actual conditions on the route. More help needed please.... Mike - MPx
