Rear Leg room vs D4

If the base of the front seats are as far back as they will go, which has more rear leg room: the L405 or the D4? I ask because while I think the L405 has more rear leg room generally, the front seats go back further.

The longer wheelbase L405 will have the most legroom Thumbs Up

I wouldn’t know what to do with so much leg room!

I think it's still going to be the l405. I found the rear legroom very disappointing in the d4. V8 or else ...

Indeed I can! If you put the base (just the seat squab) back as far as it will go, nothing protrudes from the back of the seat.

The front seats can go usefully further back than those in the D4, giving much more space in the front. But, to be fair, with the front seat giving me just the same amount of room in the front, there is around 2-3” more rear legroom. It also shares the stadium seating with the 4. Much as I loved my D4’s, the seating was compromised by the need to get 3 rows in.

Another thing is that it’s easy to put the passenger seat much further forward and still give plenty of room for the passenger and provide huge amounts of leg room for the person directly behind Thumbs Up
