For goodness sake people, listen to Miggit on this one! I fitted an 020 a couple of years ago. I leave my car sitting doing nothing for over 3 weeks at a time and have no trouble starting. Every so often stick a C-Tek on but haven't yet this winter! Previous cars:

I couldn't get the 020 to fit, it was sligtly too long, so ended up fitting a 19 850Amp 95Ah 2024 P550e Autobiography

In my 2007 car the 020 would just fit, but then there was insufficient room for the pos terminal to fit correctly (See Battery positive terminal thread), cutting off the left side "foot" solved this but it is tight! I think the various opinions may be due to different types of leads fitted, mine has the fuse type (2006 onwards?) which hangs down next to battery case. I think perhaps the earlier pyrotechnic types may have sat above the battery? I guess case designs may also vary slightly, mine was/is a Varta.

J evro, Assuming that you're managing to survive, but it may be a pain, then get your battery from here https://www.tayna.co.uk/610-200-Varta-Silv...P3200.html They deliver, so you don't have to go anywhere... I personally haven't used that company, I used another called puredrive batteries, but after Brexit, the effect on the pound has taken it's toll and puredrive have gone from the cheapest battery to one of the more expensive battery suppliers So if your in need get one from tayna (many peeps on here have) before their price shoots up by 30% Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... IF you got it from tayna I think you'll have to ship it - your cost - to them - thats if you can find anyone to courier it , then they'll test it and find in their own favour that you've allowed it to become discharged/sulphated , so best to just bite the bullet and get a new battery (thats what I did anyway ) |

Indeed it did (Tayna). I wonder just how anyone would get a battery back to them in case of issues. Paying at least 50% more locally seems almost worthwhile.

yes , lesson learned here too , spoke to one of their sales people after my battery started playing up after 15 months or so , and from the conversation we had decided that I'd be wasting more money sending it back to them so plumped for another battery instead from another supplier |

An H15 is an AGM battery, afaik the SC like the rest of the L322's was fitted with a normal type battery, either 019 or 020. The charging system isn't setup to charge the AGM and it doesn't supply enough voltage. I would check fitment with LR before you fork out for the wrong battery, and if your going down the warranty route I'd be very vague about the age of your car, I think it was 2011 when they were first fitted Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... The 020 is the correct fitment for the diesel, and yes it's a tight fit but it goes in there without having to resort to the use of a crowbar or hammer!!
