i do my best to keep the threads in a readable fashion, though i might be over zealous sometimes... normally the thread makes sense if you read it through. ... - .- -.

Right, so my one RRSport wheel nut arrived today and I've parked the car and just removed one existing wheel nut without loosening any others and with the car on the ground. The new nut is certainly what I would call a snug fit, taking considerable force to partially tighten it. It almost felt as if it was cross threaded.

jack up that one wheel, loosen all the nuts and replace one by one...they should be a tight'ish fit |

As Stan says - basically the holes in your wheels are too big for the nuts you have - so they will likely be slightly off centre - loosen them all and that should give the movement you need. |

If your tyres are wearing on the inside edge you have to ask why?

Well, it's like the chicken and the egg, isn't it.

Wheel nuts will not be a cause of any clunking (see my previous reply about how wheels are attached to hubs). 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

Yes, I did read and absorb the earlier reply. It did make me wonder whether, with the potholes and subsidence in the roads round here, the wheels might occasionally rotate slightly on the hubs. Very unlikely!

First advert they look like 18's and if that is a pic of the inside of them they are 18s.

Best message them and ask if you are interested and can't work it out from the photos.

At last, and much more expensively than I'd hoped, I've got 2 new Pirelli's on the front, 2 good HiFly's on the back and a decent spare wheel and tyre. All 255/50 R19's, so not the 255/55 19 or ideally 255/60 18's that I really wanted, but they will have to do.
